Nick, a washed up med school dropout, scrapes by at his job at the local bowling alley, telling himself that someday he’ll go back to school. When he witnesses a regular customer fighting with her fiancé, he tries to help her, but in doing so, he risks losing his job. His attempt to help her forces him to face the lies he’s told himself.
